Field Assistant
Take the next step in your conservation or environmental career!
As a Field Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising Crew Leaders in the field, as well as for administrative, logistical, and personnel support for 3-4 field crews. You will work with each Crew Leader to ensure crew safety, high-quality work, positive crew community, among other responsibilities.
Nature Teacher
The Nature Teacher will assist with planning, scheduling, teaching and general supervision of existing programs and events for K-12 students and adult community members, and design and implement new programs for different age groups.
Myrick Park Center Event Staff
Event Staff are the on-site point of contact for guests at Myrick Park Center during event reservations. They help with any facility questions, concerns, or needs that arise. Event staff ensure the space is prepped and clean prior to, during, and after events.
Crew Leader
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for crew safety, ensuring high quality work, building community, crew work ethics, and personal development of the Crew Members, among other responsibilities. You must be comfortable with hard work in tough conditions commonly found living and/or working in the outdoors for weeks at a time.
Garden Assistant
Garden Assistants are what make our demonstration garden at WisCorps Headquarters successful. They help with planning the layout of the garden, planting, nurturing, and harvesting organic produce. They also create their own programs and projects to involve members of the community in what's going on in the garden.
Crew Member
Crew Members live and work together for the entire project season, working Monday-Friday with weekends off to travel and recreate as a group. Together, they complete projects such as: new trail construction, trail restoration, bridge/boardwalk construction, reforestation, and invasive species management.
Community Enrichment
Community Enrichment AmeriCorps Members are chosen to serve at local non-profit sites to address environmentally- related needs in the community.
